Gastronomy – Costa de la Luz
Costa de la Luz offers a very unique gastronomy with a very high quality and variety. The most well known products are the Sherry and Brandy from Jerez, La Manzanilla (dry white wine) and Langostino (Prawn) from Sanlucar, the Tuna from Barbate/Zahara de los Atunes and Cheese / Olive oil from the mountains of Cádiz. Jerez de la Frontera was elected the European Wine Capital in 2014, the province has many wine yards and bodegas that are worth a visit.

Cruz Blanca – Tapas Bar located in the centre of Jerez opposite the town hall, the bar has tables inside and several tables outside that tends to be busy in the evenings when the temperature permits exterior dining. The menu consists of a good variety of tapas and the quality is excellent. Definitely worth a visit!

Meson del Asador – Tapas Bar close to Plaza Arenal, the decoration and the location might not be the most attractive, the food will not disappoint you if you like good local tapas and grilled meats. Good value for money!!

La Carbona – One of the best restaurants in Jerez if not the best, here you can find some of the best local gastronomy. The location can be a bit difficult to find. Expect to pay a restaurant price.

La Carcel – Tapas Bar located in old town of Arcos de la Frontera. Good home made Tapas in a charming local environment. Parking not available in old town. Arcos de la Frontera offers two good local house wines Barbazul (Red) & Tierra Blanca (white). Very good value for money!

La Herradura – The restaurant is located in in a natural environment within the riding club Royal Center. The price tends to be mid-high although the quality makes it worth a visit. A Menu of the Day is served from Monday – Friday
